Community Supported by The Osoyoos & District Arts Council
The Culture of the West Boundary
The West Boundary has a long history that celebrates the many pioneers who helped build this special area of BC.
That legacy continues to this day with the Rock Creek & Boundary Fair Association who offer an annual Fall Fair that is a fan favorite of families far and wide!
This year, the Rock Creek& Boundary Fair Association joined the Osoyoos & District Arts Council and saw immediate support with their messages being shared with a broader audience, the support of The ART Gallery Osoyoos selling their 50/50 Raffle tickets on their behalf, their ability to participate in the Education sessions offered to member groups and the Pop Up Markets during the Osoyoos First Friday Art Walks.
Providing Support to Smaller volunteer groups or not for profits in our Community One of our mandates is to share information and knowledge with our member and community groups, to assist with their own sustainability. We create and offer free information workshops annually.
Helping New Artistic Groups
Sometimes a New Group just needs a little help to get going
The Osoyoos & District Arts Council helps new or existing groups with promoting their group, we help create web pages for them, help create Facebook posts and share their information with our entire network of contacts.
Our community is blessed with so many different types of art! Osoyoos has over 20 beautiful works of mural art throughout the town and this celebration of them was a collaboration between Destination Osoyoos, The Osoyoos Museum, Wide Arts National Assn, led by The Osoyoos & District Arts Council. Local Sponsors jumped in to provide contest prizes and together, we highlighted one more artistic adventure in our community!
Theatre is alive and well in Osoyoos!
"Thanks to the generous support of the Osoyoos and District Arts council we were able to mount a very successful production in 2026. A grant allowed us to rent rehearsal space for several months before the big snow. The use of your website helped to get the word out to our audience, which was much appreciated. we were also able to sell tickets to our event online through the Osoyoos and District Arts council website which we are sure helped to increase our ticket sales. Thank you for your support and we look forward to working with you again for our next production (The Election) scheduled to be on stage in March of 2027."' Jim D.
