Become a Member of the Osoyoos & District Arts Council and Support Arts and Culture

The Osoyoos & District Arts Council is an umbrella organization that provides an identity and support to smaller cultural group organizations, guilds and individual members. We strive to provide services, resources and activities which cannot be accomplished independently and work to protect these shared interests.  Our focus includes: The individual - The cultural community - The larger community of Osoyoos and extended area which includes Rock Creek to the east and Keremeos to the west. 

As a Member of The Osoyoos & District Arts Council, you become part of an active organization that opens the door for opportunities and possibilities such as: learning, contributing expertise on committees and the board, receiving financial or collegial support, keeping the community informed about your individual and Group activities or, providing support either financially or professionally to Arts and Culture in your community. 

Why you should become a member:
Your membership fee shows how a small investment can help keep arts and cultural activities alive in Osoyoos and surrounding areas. On top of that,  as a Group or Featured Artist, you will be able to expand your reach through our social media platforms and more…. 

Membership and Renewal Yearly Fees (Annual Membership May 1 - April 30)
Individual -  $25 

Featured Artist - $60

Additional benefits for Featured Artists:

  • Your personal information and examples of your works are profiled on the website which provides an additional outlet for prospective clients to see some of your works and contact you directly
  • You are featured in a quarterly newsletter article, increasing your personal profile
  • Any shows or events that you have are published on both our website and Facebook page

Group -  $40

 Additional benefits for Member Groups:

  • Your group profile is featured on the website which provides information for new prospects to learn about you and contact you 
  • Your group is featured in a quarterly newsletter, which helps increase your community profile
  • Any shows or events that you have are published on both our website and Facebook page
  • You have access to book the Art Centre boardroom for meetings free of charge (see Boardroom calendar on left panel)
  • You can apply for Arts in Motion Grants of up to $500 per fiscal year (see link below)
  • You can apply to use space at Sonora Centre of up to $500 in value per fiscal year (see link below)
  • If you do not have a physical address for your mail delivery, as a member group you are welcome to share our mailbox # 317 and we will pick up the mail weekly and deliver to an inbox in the art gallery ready for your pickup during gallery open hours
  • We subscribe to a grants website, we will spend time with you to go through the website and look for grant opportunities that might be just right for your group

Please note that our arts council annual Insurance Policy does not include coverage for third party groups such as individual membership, Member Groups or Group memberships.
