Support for Arts & Culture in Action
Igniting the Love of Art in our Artists of the Future!
The Osoyoos & District Arts Council supports the works of volunteers sharing their passion for arts with up and coming young artists!
" We are so grateful for the opportunity to learn... the volunteer's enthusiasm for art is contagious...she encourages them to express themselves in their own authentic way.
We are also honored to be able to participate in the Young At Art show - a wonderful opportunity for the children to share their creativity with the community and have their work celebrated.
... (the volunteer) takes the children on a journey of discovering both art and themselves. We're so grateful for her and for the arts council for supporting opportunities that bring such joy, creativity, and connection into our children's lives.
With gratitude,
Osoyoos and area home-school parents"

"Right from when I applied to have a show, to the hanging and the opening event, all of the staff have been extremely helpful.
The overall effect of the show is wonderful.
I would highly recommend The Art Gallery of Osoyoos to other artists contemplating a show location."

Art for Everyone!
A community comes together to showcase a modern art form!
Our community is blessed with so many different types of art! Osoyoos has over 20 beautiful works of mural art throughout the town and this celebration of them was a collaboration between Destination Osoyoos, The Osoyoos Museum, Wide Arts National Assn, led by The Osoyoos & District Arts Council. Local Sponsors jumped in to provide contest prizes and together, we highlighted a fun way to experience an artistic adventure in our community!
