Osoyoos Actors Studio Inclusive Society (OASIS)

OASIS was incorporated under the Societies Act on August 24, 2023. It was created
when founding members noticed a glaring lack of live theatre in the Town of Osoyoos.
Although there was theatre available in the northern part of the Okanagan valley, the south
was sadly lacking and so a bunch of want to be actors banded together to correct this
deficiency in our community's Arts and Culture scene. The Society's purpose is to promote,
develop and encourage the performing arts in all forms. As of 2025, OASIS has produced
three original plays (written by a local playwright) and a fourth production
which hit the stage Feb 28 – March 2, 2025. The Society attempts to perform two shows
a year and encourages anyone who is interested in participating in live theatre (either on
stage or back stage) to watch their website for audition dates in the future. Everyone is
welcome to come out and see what live theatre is all about. We just ask that when you are
accepting your “Tony Award” you remember us little people who helped you get started .
