Born in Edmonton, Alberta, Sharon has been drawing and painting since childhood. Being mainly self taught Sharon has taken numerous courses from successful artists which has helped her to establish her own style.

Mediums used are: pastels, oils, watercolour and occasionally acrylics. She tries to capture the essence of her subjects, believing the soul is mirrored in the eyes. Portraits of people and animals being her preferred subjects.

Sharon has her own gallery/studio in her home, and teaches art to children and adults. The gallery is open most days and by appointment.
