The Similkameen Country Development Association
The Similkameen Country Development Association (SCDA) is a non-profit society based in Keremeos, in the heart of the beautiful Similkameen Valley, led by an enthusiastic volunteer Board of Directors and a small, dedicated staff team. In partnership with local, regional, and provincial organizations, SCDA works to foster and celebrate the vitality of the Lower Similkameen by promoting tourism, supporting local businesses, and providing visitor and community information services.
The Lower Similkameen does not currently have a formal arts society. SCDA recognizes the important role arts and culture play in tourism and overall community well-being. We are passionate about supporting local artists, creators, and cultural initiatives wherever possible by promoting and showcasing the creativity that makes our rural communities so unique.
